More Security Approved For Millburn Schools
The Board of Education approved a resolution add new security at the elementary schools and improve security at the High School and Middle School.
Millburn's Board of Education unanimously approved a resolution Monday night to install and expand video surveillance systems across the district. "The project is to implement cameras at all elementary schools as well as add to the camera systems that are already in place at the middle and high schools," Millburn School District Business Administrator Steven Di Geronimo said. According to the board, the video surveillance system will improve health, safety and welfare of students and faculty in the school. "The administration has identified areas of concern with security, [so] we have decided to move forward with addressing these areas," Millburn School Board President Jeffery Waters said.
