Two Unlocked Cars Burglarized, One Stolen in Short Hills Overnight
Sometime Saturday night to Sunday morning, cars on Hartshorn Drive and Great Hills Road were burglarized and one Cayuga Way was stolen.
Three cars were burglarized sometime Saturday night into early Sunday morning in Short Hills, Millburn Police said. According to police, residents reported their cars on Hartshorn Drive and Great Hills Road were broken into overnight Sunday, Feb. 3, and one car parked on Cayuga Way was stolen. Police said a Caryuga Way resident reported her BMW was parked overnight on the street in front of her home. When she woke up she noticed her car was gone. The resident told police she was unsure whether the car was locked. According to a report, a GPS, valued at $100, and $10 in loose change was stolen from an unlocked Ford Mustang parked at a Hartshorn Drive residence. Yes indeed Sarah ~ and it has nothing to do with being rich or dumb as teamster1161 seems to think. Perhaps it has to do with too much mult-tasking or with being harried.
