Millburn Receives Grant For Sidewalk Improvements
Essex County announces recipients of Community Development Block Grants.
Millburn is among 16 Essex County municipalities to receive Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), according to a press release released Tuesday by Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo Jr. Millburn will receive a grant of $36,102 for the construction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant improvements to sidewalks and streets throughout the township. The township will also receive a $15,800 non-profit project grant to Opportunity Project Inc. for its pre-vocational training and work adjustment program, the release said.
