Question of the Week: What's Your Fashion 'Must Have' This Fall?

What's the best place to ask about fashion? A fashion show, of course.

The Downtown Millburn Development Alliance held a fashion show last week to show off the looks people can buy in local stores and also to raise money for the Millburn-Short Hills Education Foundation, the Millburn-Short Hills Chapter of the Red Cross and the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad. So what do the attendees want for their fall look? Question: What's your fashion "must have" this fall?" Location: DMDA Fashion Show, Chanticler Joyce Cygler, Basking Ridge: I'm looking for for a simple, little black dress. It can go anywhere, you can dress it up and down. Plus, it's nice to see women looking more feminine. Judy Hughes, Basking Ridge:  I agree, it's time to buy a L.B.D. (little black dress). I haven't bought one in years…

The Runway Comes to Millburn

Downtown Millburn fashion shops show off their looks.

The bright lights were shining and the applause was loud Thursday night as Millburn's downtown fashion stores showed off their looks. The sold out fashion show, presented by the Downtown Millburn Development Alliance, raised money for the Millburn-Short Hills Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad and the Millburn-Short Hills Education Foundation. The stores that participated in sending looks down the runway were Deborah Gilbert Smith, Gito, Nita ideas, Gotham City Clothing, Jalm Boutique, Jia Boutique, Bardot Lingerie, P.
