Early outbreak of the flu has caused the two townships with a shared health department to run out of vaccines.
Livingston Health Department, which is shared with Millburn, reported it is currently out of flu vaccine. According to the Millburn-Short Hills Item, Lou Anello, the department's health officer, said he expects a small shipment of the vaccine later this week.

New York Giants offensive ineman and New Jersey resident Rich Seubert was at the Morris Turnpike Walgreens Tuesday to receive his combined H1N1 and seasonal flu shot and to sign autographs and take pictures with local fans.
