79 Students Win Visual Art Awards
Millburn and Short Hills students take home 24 Gold Key awards, 27 Silver Key awards and 26 Honorable Mention awards in the 2013 Northern NJ Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition.
Millburn Township Public School students have won 79 Visual Art awards in the prestigious 2013 Northern NJ Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition. Students at Millburn High School won 24 Gold Key awards, 27 Silver Key awards and 26 Honorable Mention awards. Two students at the Millburn Middle School also won awards this year including a Gold Key and an Honorable Mention. The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition is sponsored by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers. The competition is the nation’s longest-running, largest and most prestigious recognition program for creative teenagers in the visual and literary arts and strives to identify, motivate and validate the next generation of artists and writers.
