What Millburn Elementary Schools are Doing on MLK Jr. Day
Schools are in session on Monday but it's not an average day. Check out below what a few of the elementary schools have planned.
Here's what going on at Hartshorn, Deerfield and Wyoming elementary schools on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Hartshorn School Peer Leaders from the Middle School will be visiting Hartshorn from about 9 to 11:30 a.m. school tp help promote Dr. King’s messages, especially from the book Martin's Big Words that the elementary school students will be reading that day. Also visiting Hartshorn that day will be Assemblywoman Mila Jasey. Dr. Crisfield will escort her there to see and participate in their MLK day activities. Three MHS interns who work with Assemblywoman Jasey (seniors Ana Gracie and Lexi Tonelli and junior Chase Harrison) who may also be able to attend.
