Fabulous Finds Holiday Sale is Saturday

Purchases help New Eyes for the Needy provide eyeglasses to the needy.

Looking for a holiday gift while contributing to a local charity? New Eyes for the Needy will hold its Fabulous Finds Holiday Sale this weekend. The sale will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the New Eyes building on Millburn Avenue. It is similar to the weekly sale held each Thursday. There will be bargains among the cases of fine and antique jewelery pieces, watches and costume jewelry. There is also silver and crystal giftware and holiday items. The merchandise is donated to New Eyes for resale, and all proceeds are used for the organization's new prescription eyeglass program. Fabulous Finds Returns to New Eyes

The showroom at New Eyes for the Needy was crowded Thursday afternoon.

There was plenty of catching up at New Eyes for the Needy Thursday afternoon. Everyone was asking how their summers were and how the fall has been so far. But everyone was there for more than just to catch up. They were there to find a deal on jewelry at the weekly Fabulous Finds sale. The sale, which raises money for New Eyes' work, has been on a hiatus since June. There is more than jewelry. There's plates and glasswear. And there were plenty of people, many of whom know each other because they come many weeks. The sale is held each Thursday at 1-3 p.m. at the New Eyes showroom on Millburn Avenue.
