2 Minors Injured in School Bus Accident
Incident occurred on Route 24 East.
Update: Article contains information on three injuries including two minors. Three people were injured after a school bus they were on overturned on Route 24 Monday afternoon. The accident happened on the bridge over River Road in Summit. Emergency responders from Millburn, Summit and the Chathams, along with fire and police personnel responded to the scene. It was reported earlier that there were no passengers on the school bus. However, according to Summit Fire Department Battalion Chief Rick Locke there were three people injured in the accident, including two minors. I was two cars in front of the school bus when it crashed. The school bus looked like it over corrected its steering and slammed into the guardrail. The bus then flipped over completely and landed on its wheels. I am happy to hear that the people in the bus only sustained minor injuries. more ›
