Limelight Players Present 'You Can't Take It With You'

Millburn High School Spring Drama premieres this weekend.

The Millburn High School Limelight Players will present its spring production of Kaufman and Hart’s Pulitzer-Prize winning comedy, “You Can’t Take It With You”, beginning this weekend. The performances will take place on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Millburn High School auditorium. Tickets are $10 in advance (until noon Friday), and $12 at the door. Tickets may also be purchased in advance via email at millburnlimelight@gmail.com. High school students can purchase tickets during lunchtime this week. Seats are reserved. Pulitzer-Prize Winning Comedy at MHS

The Play, "You Can't Take It With You," is set for Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Millburn High School Auditorium.

The Millburn High School Drama Club and Millburn's Limelight Players will present Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman’s Pulitzer-prize winning comedy, You Can't Take It With You, on Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Millburn High School Auditorium.  The 1936 play, set in the closing years of the Great Depression, was an immediate success thanks to its much-needed dose of laughter and optimism. The action centers on the eccentric Vanderhof household, and the mayhem that ensues when granddaughter Alice falls in love with a Wall Street banker, and his straitlaced family meets up with her madcap relatives.
