Millburn HS Hosts Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

Students make lunches to raise money for upcoming class trips and activities.

Exam time is stressful for both teachers and students. So during last week’s midterm exams, one group of students worked to give teachers a lunch break from their proctoring and grading. During exam week the Applied Academics Class (Life Skills) sold homemade lunches for school staff as a fundraiser to help support the cost of their upcoming class trips and activities.   On Tuesday, Jan. 29, the last day of exams, the class hosted a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, providing a free lunch of Italian hot dogs, salad, cookies, brownies, water bottles and coffee.
