And not give WLM the attention they crave? I would hate to hurt your/their feelings like that. I'm sure they are now turning their attention to deciding which of the three of them will run for the open BOE seats in April, I mean November.

Lise Chapman may mean well, but it is funny that those who criticize the Board's incivility towards the public overlook her grandstanding and improper calling out other BOE members. And just like the other 3 critics, no one offers any solutions or alternatives. You don't want just 4.8 high school teachers? Ok. How many teachers do you want? What will you cut in exchange? Just an example but we don't see any of that from the so-called critics. They are all too busy grandstanding and putting on their shows for the audience - which of course, is mostly themselves. Still, if nothing else, it makes for entertaining television.

As I read it, based on his analysis of the test scores, he believes that Wyoming and South Mountain are discriminated against in that they do not receive the same resources as the other elementary schools. He draws the unsupported conclusion that if those two schools underperform the three others, then it must be because they do. It receive the same level of support.
While his analysis of the test scores may very well be correct, his conclusion may not be. Granted he is looking for data from the BOE hat he believes will prove his conclusion -and it appears that data has not been provided - his conclusion is unimportant if the Wyoming and South Mountain kids do not underperform at the middle school level.

Saying there is none is ridiculous. There isn't enough, but there certainly isn't none. And the one "keeper" you claim "we" have I found to be arrogant, disrespectful and certainly not someone looking to build a consensus or put forth fresh - reasonable - ideas. The ideas she threw out showed she is not yet up to speed with the budget process. But again, at least she showed up.
Looking forward to seeing "S Bola" on the ballot in November.

I'm not missing anything. I get that there needs to be better communication and information. I get that there needs to be better strategic planning. No one would question that. However, the particular "line of public citizens" who do nothing but complain and criticize never suggest reasonable alternatives. This go 'round, they focused on the spending on facilities. The newest board member (who to her credit at least showed up to the meeting) went on a tirade about all the facilities spending also failed to suggest alternatives.

Such helpful advice "George." What realities are you referring to? That to have a better experience one should move out? Well then lead on.
