I would really like to have this looked at.
Personally, I don't think anything is gone over after its been introduced in the classroom. Some kind of sponge system is to have taken place...

Typically, homework is corrected by the student and rarely reviewed by the teacher. Not acceptable and another request I had of many teachers. How the teacher can even be sure the students understand what's being presented was always my concern. Not until a test is given would a teacher know if there is a problem. Don't even get me started on the overuse of testing! Way off the subject, but a big concern for me.

couldn't agree more. Perhaps, we could start with teacher/parent communication. Followed by, is homework even reviewed and corrected.
Than work on a plan that would help that student. Again, call me crazy
